This is EDUCATIONAL.
This is a bit of a bizarre edit of the silent film "The Lost World" made for classrooms! Yes, try to explain to the kids that there lies beyond the boonies a place where dinosaurs exist. Oh wait, the beginning says its just supposed to be used to show how dinosaurs existed. Well if that's the case, what's the point of showing the humans? (gets off soapbox)

Shortened version of the 1925 release
Interesting because it pioneered the "monster on the loose" formula of KING KONG and many monster films that followed. Animation by Wills O'Brien, who also animated KONG and mentored Ray Harryhausen.
